Group Sessions

Abundant Life Ranch’s Group Sessions are designed to strengthen bonds and create memories within preexisting groups, as well as teach individuals the fundamental relational skills of Communication, Trust, and Respect.

The Ranch works with both children ages 5 to 18 from all different backgrounds (primarily at-risk and disadvantaged), and with women and girls recovering from trauma. Many of these children are brought to the Ranch by a parent, teacher, guardian, Big Brother/Big Sister, youth leader, mentor, therapist, or court-appointed advocate. The adults participating in our program come from group homes and are all recovering from trauma.

We offer a variety of programs that are geared toward meeting the needs of a variety of individuals. All of these programs are geared towards developing life skills that participants can take with them as they go back into their everyday lives. Our curriculum focuses on strengthening bonds, expanding comfort zones, learning new things, unifying groups, growing in relational health, increasing trust, and overcoming fears.

Sometimes we wish we had the overview that God has over our lives. It makes it seem as though our challenges would be easier to face or even that the waiting would become easier to withstand if we only knew His plan. But often God doesn't reveal to us everything He can see because He knows what's better for us. He knows that our lack of understanding or knowledge won't hinder the plans He has for us. Quite the contrary, it will deepen our level of trust for the Lord who goes before us and fights for us. ... See MoreSee Less
